Applications are invited from suitable qualified citizens for the below mentioned post tenable at Dibete Ostrich Multiplication Unit for at least 6 months.
.
Vacant position: 5× Temporary labourers
Salary scale: A3(P16 644.00 per annum)
Leave Days :20. Working days /per annum
QUALIFICATIONS: STD 7 and JC
.
WORK EXPERIENCE
-Applicant should have served satisfactorily as a labourer for terms exceeding 6 months.
Duration: 6months
.
REQUIREMENTS
-Be a citizen of Botswana
-Be 18 to 45 years
-No criminal records
-Be mentally and physically fit
-Be of sober habits
-Be able to read both Setswana and English
-At least 1 reference
-Candidates should have not worked at DOMU for the past one year on temporary basis
.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-To provide manual reinforcement on the activities of other support staff in the department. Under this post the employees are expected to work as from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Therefore Tuesday and Wednesday are regarded as Weekend days.

DUTIES
-To assist in feeding and watering the ostriches
-To assist in maintenance and repairing of fence
-To clean and sweep the paddocks
-To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
.
