POSTS: TEMPORARY RECEPTION CLASS TEACHERS – PRIMARY SCHOOLS (CENTRAL REGION)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers to teach reception classes at primary schools. This invitation is open only to those who have a teaching qualification and are Botswana citizens.

QUALIFICATIONS: – Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Education with early childhood Education & Training.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary – 12 months
SALARY SCALE:
Certificate – B3 (P38, 280.00 – P45, 768.00 per annum) TEACHER AIDE
Diploma – C4 (P64, 632.00 – P74, 232.00 per annum) CLASS TEACHER
Degree – C3 (P80, 112.00-95, P748.00 per annum) CLASS TEACHER

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Inducting pre -primary school pupils based on prescribed syllabi, supervising guiding and counseling pupils, maintaining records and participating in extracurricular activities.

REQUIREMENTS
•Full and up-to- date CV which includes full contact details (cell no)
•2 certified copies of Omang
•2 certified copies of certificates including school leaving certificate.
•2 references (recent 6 months).
•2 certified copies of academic certificates and or transcripts
•2 certified copies of Tirelo Sechaba certificates (if any).

COMPETENCES
•Speak English & Setswana Fluently
•Passion for working with children of ages 3.5 to 5.5
•Ability to plan effective learning and care programs
•Ability to guide and facilitate play as part of Academic Transcripts
•Ability to work extra hours
•Team player and friendly
