Township Rollers FC To Walk Against Crime
One of the biggest football teams in the country, Township Rollers supporters will this weekend,September 9 go on a walk to show they are displeased with the crime rates in Gaborone.
Township Rollers PRO Bafana Pheto announced that the walk will start by civic center and called on to other teams to come and join them in this march.

On the 9th September 2017, Township Rollers FC supporters, well-wishers and supporters of other teams are invited to join us as we will be walking to show our displeasure to crimes happening in Gaborone. Innocent people are robbed, hijacked and injured due to forced crimes to them. We need a crime free City. We invite all to join us in this March against crime. Criminals are not the supreme of our city. Show you care and join us. The march will start at the space between civic centre and library and walk along Independence Avenue towards Old Lobatse Road then turn on to Mandela Road then Khama Crescent at Orapa House then turn at UN House along President Drive then turn right on to Independence Avenue then right into Queens Road and finish on Botswana Road back to where we started.
The starting time is 8.30 am.

Lately the crime rates in the city have been growing at an alarming rate with people being robbed at certain spots and bus stops in broad daylight.
This past weekend, during the final leg of the GIMC week that ended with a music festival, a lot of people were robbed and assaulted and a life was lost at the event.
