Kast Meets Up With His Youngest Supporter, Tumelo

Just last week Kast wrote on his Facebook page that he was looking for a young fan who touched him during his 1000km walk at Moreomabele. After getting information about the boy, yesterday Kast left Gaborone embarking on a journey to Moreomabele to meet his hero Tumelo and spend the whole afternoon with him.

Well it seems as if what Kast wants, Kast gets. He has uploaded a picture with Tumelo captioned, “Situation right now in Moreomabele with my boy Tumelo Moitisi the #No1Motlatsi #FoundMyHero.” Kast first met Tumelo during the walk while passing through Moreomabele village, and he gave Kast P1 as a pledge. He did try to find him and thank him properly during his walked, but failed.

“This pledge I regard as the most genuine and biggest gesture of all. I still carry this P1 everywhere I go. Every time I look at the coin I get the courage and motivation that we have genuine future support that will give their last and their all for the betterment of others,” Kast said. He has been adamant at finding this boy as he regards him as his beacon of hope. “I get filled with so much emotion every time I think of that moment, how he came leading a crowd of elders towards us, how I tried to give him a high five initially but all he wanted was to pledge. He went on to walk around 10km with us. Such an amazing Soul,” said Kast.
