Uyapo Ndadi Sets Up A Foundation For Teen Moms.
In a world of literacy and technology, we still find girls becoming mothers at a very young age. After realizing that when it comes to this problem, Botswana is no exception, human rights advocate and socialite Uyapo Ndadi has come up with an initiative to help those who have fallen prey to teen pregnancy.
Using social media to get the attention of people he posted, “If you are concerned about teenage pregnancies like we are, and you don’t know how to help them, you might want to join us in this campaign. Child support is a big problem in Botswana, and raising a child is no joke financially or otherwise, what more of children who have to be mothers at a tender age. We will also help with free legal support for young girls who are survivors of defilement. Our help is only available to those who are 17 years and below.”
Moved to Compassion, Ndadi Foundation Charity Drive together with Windows of Hope in Ghanzi wants to give support to Teen Mothers in need and are asking the nation to support. Any form of donation can be brought to Ndadi law firm in Gaborone from now on until the 31st of May. Blessed is the hand that gives.
