Tertiary Cut Off Points Released.

It’s been over 2 weeks since the release of Botswana Government Certificate of Secondary Education 2016 results. Now the Ministry of Education has released the cut off points for new students. All individuals seeking Government sponsorship to pursue Tertiary Education are informed of the following:

1. The cut-off point for sponsorship will be 36 points

2. Cut-off for Orphans and Vulnerable / Rural Area Communities and Special Education (SPED) is 5 points less that the set cut-off point.

3. Government sponsorship shall be for Fully Accredited programs only.

4. The Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA) shall publish in the local media the list of Fully Accredited programs and where they are offered locally on 31st March 2017.

5. Prospective students can submit their applications to institutions of their choice which offer Fully Accredited programs with from 1st April 2017.
