If there is one man who is serious about finishing what he started, it’s none other that S’ja bana hit maker Kast. We all know his number one dream at the moment is to fill up our National Stadium with local artists only, something that has never been achieved by any artist. Kast has been faced with so many obstacles that has hindered his dream, but he is adamant of making it a success come this April.

.

“Last year after a long struggle and a lot of intervention by various authorities, we were able to secure the national stadium without having to pay fo r the venue except for the Tuff cover at a cost of P25 000 and a P50 000 security deposit. After securing a new date in April we expected the ministry of youth to extend the same courtesy, but instead their position is that they don’t have the authority to give the venue as it belongs to the BNSC. The BNSC on the other hand insists that we pay the full P200 000.00,” Kast explained.

He continued, “Since we don’t have these funds but are dedicated to shining the spotlight on local music and making history by filling up the stadium with a 100% local line up. I (KAST) as a way to lobby Government to facilitate securing of the venue for the event and fund raising, will walk 1000 KM for local music. This will serve as a show of dedication to the course and a kind request for support from Batswana as an ailing local industry. We request that individuals, groups and the private sector pledge their support in the form of funds or services to facilitate this walk and the main event.” We wish you all the best Kast.
