They say dynamites come in small packages, and with songstress Amantle Brown, this couldn’t be any further from the truth. From being the biggest winner at the last BOMU awards, the petite singer did it again at the YAMA’s scooping 2 awards.
“Last night was epic and a highlight of my music career. Had a performance at the same time the 2016 YAMA’s were premiering, and I scooped 2 Awards out of 3 nominations,”she said. She walked away with Best Single Female and the prestigious Song of the Year for her hit Black Mampatile. In her true humble spirit, Amantle thanked her loyal fans and all radio stations including Yarona FM who were behind the awards ceremony. She also did not forget the newspaper, her team, music empire records, her family and Batswana at large.
Amantle started her professional singing career in 2015 when she released a single titled Moratiwa and then later on in the year another one titled Mahitshwana. This year, she released another single Black Mampatile and it has received over 20 000 likes on Facebook a few months after its release. She has shared the stage with big artists like Samantha Mogwe and Ringo Madlongozi.
