Emma Wareus Shares Miss Botswana Fun Facts
Miss Botswana pageant is one competition that always have it’s fair share of drama, from sponsors to unfairness when it comes to the crowning of the queen.On a lighter note though, Miss Botswana 2010 and first runner up of Miss World Emma Wareus decided to share with Batswana interesting fun facts about this pageant.
“Mom was Miss Botswana 1978, at 19, during the first president Seretse Khama’s presidency.
I was Miss Botswana 2010, at 19, during Ian Khama’s presidency, son of the first president Seretse Khama. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, queening,” she said. This rare occurrence should go down in history books, because it is 1 in a million.
Thata Kenosi is this year’s Miss Botswana, and she will be representing us at the 66th edition of Miss World which will take place in Washington DC on December 20th. We are rooting for her, and hope that she will add on to the fun facts since this is a great year in the history of this country.
