If they is one young man who is going places, it’s Karabo Sibanda. This athlete finished on position 5 clocking a new personal best time of 44.25 in 400m final at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Karabo Sibanda’s performance in 400m Final at the Olympics came with more great news.
It means two Botswana young stars are the fastest in 400m in the world this year in the Juniors (Under 20). Baboloki Thebe is number 1 in the world with 44.22 at the age of 19. Karabo Sibanda at the age of 18 is the second fastest with a time of 44.25.
