Miss RADP Aims At Empowering Young Women!

Miss RADP is a local beauty pageant of its kind. It is an initiative started by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development which is aimed at promoting gender empowerment under the auspices of the Affirmative Action Framework for Remote Area Communities. The Assistant Minister Hon. Botlogile Tshireletso will officiate at the annual grand finale under the theme, “Unearthing Natural Beauty and Talent”.

This pageant was approved by Cabinet in July 2014 and is aimed at facilitating Talent Development amongst the youth; promoting inclusiveness of young women in mainstream society as well as build self esteem through participation in national events amongst others.
