University of Botswana Looking For 3 IT Technicians
The Department of Information Technology (IT) provides Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) services to support teaching,learning,research and administrative business activities of the University. The Information Technology Department provides service to the University and are looking for 3 IT Technicians to join their team.
Qualifications:
Diploma
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience in the computing field of which must have been spent as a technician providing end user support in a medium sized organization
Salary:The University offers a competitive salary and benefits,which is commensurate with with qualifications,skills and experience.
Duties:
* The successful candidate will be expected to provide User Support and install computer software and hardware such as servers,end user computer peripheral devices,and make recommendation of appropriate user-end computing technologies and standards.
* The applicant will also be expected to implement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures for carrying out computer operations and maintenance in the faculty and support departments
