The Dikhwaere Competition feature is the most popular segment of the Festival where the people from South of Dibete group together and battle against the group from the North. The North Choir once again lost to the South Choir in a result that is usually marred with controversy and favouritism complaints from the losing Choir. South Choir has consecutively won the contest for the past five years.

Like the first president of Botswana, Sir Seretse Khama once said, A nation without culture is a lost nation. Big up to the organizers.
