Corporate Social Responsibility Officer Wanted At BoFiNet

This fast growing Company would like to invite suitably qualified, commercially oriented and self-driven individuals to apply for the following position: Corporate Social Responsibility Officer – (2 Year Contract)

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Communications, Marketing and Public Relations Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for executing / carrying out assigned corporate social responsibility engagements in accordance with the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy and Plan to ensure that the function effectively delivers on its mandate. The incumbent will be responsible for initiating and evaluating all CSR projects to ensure completeness, effectiveness and value for investment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Carry out CSR engagements in accordance with the CSR strategy, policies and plans
2. Assists in formulation of CSR policies, strategies and plans
3. Assists in budgeting for CSR activities
4. Conducts research and initiate CSR projects
5. Evaluates and monitors CSR projects and recommends appropriate corrective action.
6. Ensures effective implementation of CSR activities
7. Ensures effective internal and external communication of CSR activities
8. Raises awareness of BoFiNet’s commitment to CSR
9. Builds relationships with partner organisations
10. Coordinates CSR events
11. Prepares quarterly reports on CSR activities

Academic Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have attained the following:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field
• 4 years post academic qualification in marketing, administration or public relations.
• Proven experience in public speaking.
