3 young Batswana are among a collective of young Africans who made history with the release of a pan-African publication titled Africa 80. The group set the mammoth task of writing their perspectives on African development and the future of the continent. After a year of production, the publication was officially launched on Africa day.
The book features young voices from over 30 different African nationalities, each of them a member of the Global Shapers Community in Africa. From Botswana those who helped pen the book from Botswana are, Katlego Kolanyane-Kesupile, Simbarashe Sibanda and Tsholofelo Mokgoabone. The book was launched under the theme “Transformation through Collaboration”.
Africa 80 is a Global shapers Community Book Project that seeks to tell stories of the successes and challenges of Today`s Young African Leader. It was co-authored by 80 young Africans from across 30 countries. Big up to African youth.
