2015 YAMA Nominees Announced!

Yarona FM has announced the 2015 Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAs) nominees. A total of 15 categories will give music fans a chance to vote for the winners who will contest at the 2015 YAMAs. Only music released between June 2014 and July 2015 was considered in the nominee’s selection.

The 2015 YAMA nominees are as follows:

Best Single Male; Kast – Jealous, Epic – Respect Boi, Chrome – No Track Ya Summer, ATI – Kaching

Best Single Female; Sasa Klaas – Mmamongwato, Gaone – Kopisa,  Amantle – Drop It Down Low, Licky – Free Love (Featuring Orakle)

Best Newcomer. Chef Gustos, Gaone, Licky and Romeo Stunner

Best Hip Hop DJ; Izzy, Root,  Fauz and Macx

Best Hip Hop/Motswako; Epic – Respect Boi, Chrome – No Track Ya Summer, B Block/Touch – Top Shambole and Romeo Stunner – Milidzani

Best House DJ; Ricky Lamar, T-Man, Chrispin The Drummer and Kuchi

Best Dance Single;  Kopisa – Gaone, Come (Featuring Amantle) – Chef Gustos, Keresiya (Featuring Dubblin) – DJ Anthem and Ambuye (Featuring Dr Tawanda) – DJ Gouviea

Best Kwaito Single; Amanandos – Attention, MMP Family – Lebala Ka Nna, Eskimos – Cecelia (Featuring Jujuboy) and Franix – They Can Say

Best Producer; Prez Beatz, Bang! Gae, Chef Gustos and Lif’Aman

Song Of The Year;  Kopisa – Gaone, Lebala Ka Nna – MMP Family, Hee Wena – Epic and Mogolo Lapeng – MMP Family
