𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

The Government of Botswana through a partnership recently signed between the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) and Process Research ORTECH (Canada) will be in a position to produce high quality electric vehicle batteries and those for other renewable energy use.
The partnership will be one of the biggest mineral beneficiation projects in Botswana and will set up a 30 000 tonnes per annum plant that will produce high nickel grade and cobalt salts for the production of the batteries.
