The Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry Hon Beauty Manake has announced that the inaugural #PushaBW Selebi Phikwe Expo is billed for the 20th March 2024 at Selibe Phikwe Stadium.

Addressing the media this morning in Gaborone, Hon. Manake highlighted that the s expo is intended to showcase Botswana’s finest producers and manufacturers that are seeking to expand their businesses or solidify their presence by securing markets in the SPEDU business landscape. Around 90 companies have been selected to participate at the one-day expo.

Hon. Manake also stated that there will be buyer-seller and business to business meetings that will be held alongside the exhibition. The meetings are a deliberate effort to match the seller to potential local buyers. She cited the objectives of the #PushaBW Expo as to expose companies in the SPEDU region to potential key buyers, create an appreciation for local products and ultimately drive an uptake by individual and procuring entities for local products.

Entrance to the expo will be free.
