Opportunities For Botswana Youth: Botswana Defence Force Officer Cadet and Trainee Pilots Vacancies

The Botswana Defence Force is pleased to announce to the general public that vacancies exist for the post of OFFICER CADETS

QUALIFICATION

– A Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised institution/university
-Professionals must be registered with the relevant statutory body where applicable.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

-Male and female Botswana Citizens.
-Aged between 18-24 years (waiver for professionals: Doctors, Lawyers, Chaplains etc).
-Be physically and mentally fit.
-No adverse criminal record.
-Candidates should be in possession of a valid National Identity card (Omang).
-Minimum entry height for females is 160 cm, Males 165 cm.
-Minimum body weight for females is 45kg, males is 55kg
-All candidates shall undergo the selection process which includes
-Physical fitness assessment tests
-A comprehensive medical examination

-Female candidates must not be pregnant at recruitment and during training

REMUNERATION

BDF offers a remuneration which is commensurate with qualification and skills.

Leave Days per Annum: 30 Days after completion of training
