Kim Kardashian has always been open about her pregnancy struggles, and on Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she talked about the difficulties that come with using a surrogate. Though Kim revealed that her surrogate was having a girl back in November, in the delayed world of KUWTK she’d only just found out that the surrogate was expecting. “It is frustrating to not be able to do it on your own,” she said during the episode. “It is a weird dynamic. Like I go to all the doctors’ appointments and I try to be really present, but when you’re not carrying it yourself, it is such a fine balance of how much you’re going to be in their lives.”
While waiting to find out whether or not implantation was successful, Kim also talked about a fertility procedure she’d had before getting pregnant with Saint. “One didn’t work for me,” she said, noting that there’s only a “60 percent chance” of success. “I tried it and I lost one of them.” Her sister Khloé elaborated, “Before Kimberly got pregnant with Saint, she had an embryo implanted into her and that embryo did not take. So Kim is super nervous and anxious during this waiting period.” Kim and Kanye are expecting their third child in early 2018.
