10 Signs It’s Time To Let Go In A Relationship

We find out how strong we are in the moments of uncertainty life inevitably gives us. Letting go is one of the hardest things to figure out in life. As your emotions usually cloud your logic, and because your feelings make it harder for you to concentrate, it seems like the art of letting go can be confusing and complicated. The following signs will help you know that it is time to let the person you thought was your soul mate fly.

1. There Is No Love.

You should always feel like you are in love with your partner. You never should feel like you could be drawn to someone else or that your connection is not strong at all – and that it is constant. Relationships go through ups and downs, but you shouldn’t experience this feeling all of the time.

2. You Want To Be With Someone Else.

If you’ve not only been dreaming of breaking up with your partner but you actually want to be with someone else it’s another sign you should let your current relationship go. You shouldn’t be playing with two people. If you do want to be with someone else, you should let your current partner find someone else that will make them happy.

3. Your Trust Is Continuously Broken.

You’re vulnerable when you’re in love with an idea, a person, an event, or an accomplishment. They say that loving is letting the other party hurt you, but you’re trusting them not to do this, right? Well, if your lover consistently hurts you, or your loved ones consistently don’t care about your feelings, let go. You’ve already been hurt countless times; what makes you think the pain will stop if you continue holding on?

4. Resentment.

Resentment is not a good feeling in a relationship and it can actually cause a lot of problems. If you’re feeling resentful because you are in a relationship at all, it’s time to end it.

5. You Feel Inferior.

Your self-worth is always under-appreciated. It seems like you never feel good anymore. You’re always taken for granted. Everyone expects you to show up, but when you’re already there, you’re not even respected! When it seems like you’re the only one doing the chasing, please do yourself a favor and just stop. Doing this is like beating yourself up everyday, just let go.

6. You Want To Be Alone.

Maybe you don’t want to be with anyone at all and instead, you want to be by yourself. It’s okay for you to want to be by yourself. You’ve just got to stop playing with the person you are currently with and let them know where your head it at.

7. You’ve Lost Yourself.

If, you’ve completely and totally lost yourself and you almost don’t recognize yourself at all, its time to reflect on your relationship. This is another thing that you’ve got to consider. You should be able to still be yourself while being in a relationship, remember that!

8. You Are Not Happy.

When was the last time you were truly happy—as in really content, really satisfied and really comfortable with yourself? Don’t force yourself, my friend. If you really can’t remember, it’s time to let go and move on.

9. You Have No Interest In Resolving Things.

Resolving the hardships in your relationship is pretty important and it is common in every relationship, but if you have absolutely no reason to resolve any problems in your relationship, why are you in it? Relationships are bumpy and hard and you’ve got to be ready for that. If you aren’t and you don’t want to think about the hard times, it might be time to end your relationship.

10. There’s Inconsistency.

When the person you’re dealing with has a gift with words, it’s so easy to take the back seat and allow yourself to be swayed. However, keep in mind that not everything can be fixed via words. If he’s saying one thing and then acting another way, it’s usually a bad sign.
